Two-Party “Super” Con

If you believed for one minute the “Super Committee” would succeed in compromising and acting in the best interest of “We the People”, then you’re an idiot! That’s right –an idiot! The Special Joint Committee, composed of six Democrats and six Republicans was set-up to fail from jump-start. The failure of the committee benefits both parties politically by letting each side save “face” with their parties and constituents; what’s more, it gives both sides ammunition for the up-coming 2012 election. After news of the committee’s failure hit the media, it took all of five minutes for Democrats and Republicans to start the proverbial finger-pointing.
Early this week, “… co-chairs of the bipartisan special joint committee said in a statement that “after months of hard work and intense deliberations, we have come to the conclusion today that it will not be possible to make any bipartisan agreement available to the public before the committee’s deadline” (Ted Barrett, Kate Bolduan and Deirdre Walsh, CNN, 2011.p1.para.4).
Hard work –are they kidding? Sending e-mail back and forth holding your breath via emoticons is not working hard! Furthermore, there is not a bipartisan bone in the committee’s body. All took a stand before taking the job –Republicans demand entitlement and tax reform, while Democrats demand military cuts and higher taxes for the rich.
The “breaking” news was not surprising to most Americans. Now, if the committee would have succeeded, that would have been a surprise. Whether on the side of Democrats, Republicans, or Liberals, “The People” invested little faith in this two-party “super” con. Why would they? Congress had already caused America’s credit downgrade by acting like unreasonable children, with a “do it my way” or “hit the highway” attitude.
Van Hollen, a Democrat from Maryland and Pelosi pet, had this to say about the committee’s failure: “Many will portray this failure as the inevitable consequence of two partisan sides refusing to give ground…suggesting blame should lie with Republicans” (FoxNews.com, 2011.para.19). Partisan? That’s not the word we are using Mr. Van Hollen!
Thoroughly disgusted with the committee’s failure, Republican Sen. Bob Corker of Tennessee ranted to the press: “On its current course the federal government is projected to spend almost $44 trillion over the next 10 years, and it is nothing short of an embarrassment, an absolute national disgrace and failure of leadership that we cannot agree on even a paltry $1.2 trillion in deficit reduction over that time frame” (Ted Barrett, Kate Bolduan and Deirdre Walsh, CNN, 2011p.2.para.2). Lack of leadership and embarrassing is an understatement Mr. Corker! The committee’s failure is a threat to America’s national security by cutting $600 billion from the Department of Defense.
If $600 billion is cut from defense, the first department to suffer will be Veteran services; what’s more, soldiers on the front line will NOT be properly equipped to protect themselves and this country. Fathom this: soldiers without life-saving helmets; short supplies of ammunition; production of War Ships and Army tanks halted; massive drops in recruitment; Heroes blowing their brains out because they received inapt mental health services for PTSD; a growth in homeless veterans; and finally, World War 3 breaks out and America has no money or troops to defend ourselves. Not pretty –is it? Solution: cut $1.2 trillion from our ever-growing, inapt, meddling government, and quit giving aid to China! Leave the Military alone! Remember 9/11 Jackasses?
However, not all in Congress are complete idiots (though trace amounts are present).
“Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., issued a statement about the mandatory cuts to defense, calling the sequester of $600 billion in defense spending a “threat to the national security interests of the United States and cannot be allowed to occur” (FoxNews.com, 2011.para.8).
A former prisoner of war, McCain has a special understanding about how the $600 billion cut to defense will affect military missions and rescues, and just how important proper training and equipment are to a soldier. The United States Military should be funded in front of any other program or department –government or social. We are living in times of 9/11, Nukes, and Martyr extremists –do we really want to be caught unprepared? Do we want our soldiers (someone’s child) going into a gunfight armed only with a knife?
President Obama, who has been absent during the committee’s effort for compromise, is the con of all cons; he put in place a political strategy via automatically triggered $1.2 trillion in tax hikes and military cuts –while limiting cuts on entitlements. Obama knew this committee would not succeed –the battle over the debt ceiling, entitlement reform, tax reform, and Obama Care proved no bipartisanship exists in Congress.
“President Obama said he would veto any effort by lawmakers to repeal a requirement for $1 trillion in automatic spending cuts to be triggered after the Super Committee failed to agree on terms to save the country $1.2 trillion over a 10-year span” (FoxNews.com, 2011.para.1).
“If we don’t act, taxes will go up for every single American, starting next year. And I’m not about to let that happen,” Obama said Monday” (Sam Rolley, 2011.para.4).
Now that’s rich! Obama doesn’t want taxes to go up? Oh, that’s right –he only wants the “rich” to pay “their fair share”. The problem with this concept is, rich is a matter of perception; a poor man’s rich is different from that of a wealthy man’s rich. Additionally, one that smells of money may very well have rubbed on advertisement cologne. A person with an annual income of $1 million for example, might have $990,000 or more in bills and taxes, leaving less than $10,000 a year to live on –that’s not rich; that’s a “rich man’s poor”. Who defines rich? When it comes to taxes –the President and acting Congress, that’s who! Given the judgment used in spending tax money thus far, can Americans trust Washington?
This “Super” con was nothing more than a drain on taxpayer dollars and a waste of time –which is par for the course in the current administration. With the American economy in extreme peril and a plethora of people out of work, Americans are fed up with both sides –Americans need effective leadership! A people without proper leadership will wonder aimlessly to their certain destruction.

Moronic Ignorance Times Three

It’s painfully obvious that Vice President Biden’s foot-in-mouth disease is contagious and Obama and Carney are infected. After controversy erupted over VP Biden’s ridiculous metaphor about rape and murder to support President Obama’s jobs bill, Jay Carney sticks one foot in his mouth and the other in Obama’s via support of the VP’s rape and murder “wish” on opponents. The three moronic idiots contend that if the President’s Jobs Bill is rejected rape and murder rates will rise and the fault will rest on opponents, and Biden goes as far as to “wish” the feeling of victimization upon those opposed –which is barbaric and heartless to say the least. If Obama would have given the $500,000 plus to law enforcement agencies instead of Solyndra, Americans would be safer –it would have obviously been a wiser investment. Therefore, if this moronic ignorance holds true the fault is with the current administration, not with opponents of another failed Obama Bill. Obama’s stimulus efforts have been supported by opponents in the past, and the money was spent frivolously.
Despite the scare tactics used by this moronic threesome, this bill will not be passed. Additionally, instead of securing a 2012 Obama re-election, these elected idiots is securing him a one-term presidency. “We the People” are tired of the kind of change this administration has brought to this Great Country and the polls are proving that; downgraded credit rating, recession, healthcare mandates (Obama Care), bad investments that yield no return, bailouts, scare tactics, lack of immigration control, record unemployment, and blame games. If anyone is at fault for the rise in rape, murder, and robbery, it would be the current White House occupants that do not spend tax money with vigilant wit.
No one is to blame for criminals actions except that offender –period! I am tired of the lack of personal responsibility that seems to be contagious as well. We are each responsible for our own actions people, and anyone who says different is not only ignorant but an enabler. And, Mr. President I am holding you responsible for yours when I visit the voting booth in 2012; furthermore, when you go –take VP Biden and Jay Carney with you, because I have no use for your collective behaviors and bullying! Better recruit Acorn to buy you some votes for 2012 too, because that will be the only way you will get re-elected Mr. President. We do want change –a change in administration!
P.S. You might want to gather your two cronies and take Air Force One for one more spin on the taxpayers –it may be your last chance!
Vice President Biden’s Foot-in-Mouth Disease is Out of Remission

Vice President Biden’s foot-in-mouth disease is out of remission once again, and it seems that this reoccurring disorder is chronic. On October 18th, Joe Biden proved his moronic ignorance with a violent political rhetoric wish for critics of Obama’s Jobs Bill plan. He wished the wrath of robbery and rape upon those who oppose President Obama’s Jobs Bill, and once again controversy surrounds the dim-witted Democrat. His statement is a prime example of the egregious behavior being displayed in Congress and the White House administration these days –it is a ridiculous metaphor and beyond offensive. It is obvious the VP has no idea what the wrath of being robbed or raped feels like; how it haunts you for the rest of your life, causing pain and despair beyond normal comprehension.
Of course this is not the first time this loose-lip with no “filter” has spouted something stupid and offensive, but this metaphor may be the worst thus far. To insinuate that if Obama’s Jobs Bill is not rammed down the throat of Americans their risk of being robbed or raped will increase, or that if either were to happen it would be the direct result of opponents not passing this Bill, is reckless to say the least and Biden should be ashamed and admonished. Additionally, in essence he is inciting some entitled nut-job to commit such a hennas act –after all, they could not find a job, what else could they have possibly done? The logic used in this scare tactic is that of a simpleton which should not be allowed to speak in a public forum!
As a previous victim of this sort of intrusion I personally take offense to the “wish” of the VP. I have lived the horror of victimization, reaping the consequences of another’s actions; it is a horror of the mind I would wish upon no one. And, to hear the Vice President wish this infliction upon another simply for political gain turns my stomach. To “wish” the nightmares, mental torment, shame, and fear of victimization upon another is barbaric and heartless. Vice President Biden owes me and all Americans a public apology; furthermore, I think he should be removed from office –or at the least, his mouth duck-tapped in public!
Meth America: Mr. President I Want Action!

From Portland, Oregon too Pulaski, Tennessee
methamphetamine has riddled streets and taken countless lives in one form or
another. As the drug continues to sweep the nation, claiming city and rural
streets as its own, government heads turn in the direction of the 2012
election, entitlement reform(which needs reform), and screwing the elderly’s Medicare programs that they worked all their
lives to obtain. “The state [of Tennessee] ranked second only to Missouri last
year for reported labs” (Matt Lakin, 2011). Where is the government on this
issue? Threatening to cut funding for America’s finest Police Officers and
Drug Task groups that work tirelessly putting their lives on the line to combat
the problem and jail offenders -that’s where! “Another year set another record
for methamphetamine labs in Tennessee, with nearly 2,100 suspected labs busted
last year, higher even than initially projected …an increase of 45% from 2009”
(Matt Lakin, 2011). This astonishing number only accounts for one state’s count
out of a nation of 50; imagine the count if coupled with the rest of the United
States lab counts.
In a recent report from methresourse.gov, it gives some explanations
for the lab counts and meth problem in Tennessee: Suggesting,
“The labs that are discovered in Tennessee are generally
characterized as small and unsophisticated…These labs continue to pose a
significant threat [however], because lab operators are frequently armed and substantially
involved in the drug’s distribution and therefore tend to place booby traps
around the sites” (methresources.gov, 2011).
This resource site goes on to explain that: “Much of the
methamphetamine consumed in the state [of Tennessee] is transported from Mexico
and the southwest border states” (methresources.gov, 2011); providing another
prominent reason for tighter border control and immigration reform. While the
methamphetamine and other drugs flow into the U.S, President Obama refuses to
secure our borders properly and deport illegal immigrants. Is the problem
simply because of unsecured borders? Not at all; however, securing the border
would show a good-faith act on the President’s part –proving that he is part of
the solution and not the problem. It is the government’s job to keep Americans
safe from any threat, and methamphetamine is more than a treat; furthermore,
the dealers of such drugs are terrorists that need to be extinguished.
That being said: Recently I had an unfortunate chance to
stay at the Budget Inn on HW 31 in Pulaski, Tennessee. For one week I stayed in
a room that had previously been occupied by a drug dealer; the knocks on the
door and phone calls plagued me until the morning I checked out. I complained
to the owners with no recourse except an offer to change rooms. That would have
been fine minus the fact that except for two other guests the rest of the rooms
had been occupied by the same; drug dealers and seekers were walking the
parking lot, there was continuous traffic 24/7, and one particular dealer was
going door-to-door delivering meth. Being a student and writer, sleepless
nights and fear is not what I paid for nor did I want; not to mention the owner’s
son cruising the parking lot ringing a cowbell to warn the dealers when the
police were near. That’s right –I said the owner’s son! It seemed that not only
were the owners’ renting to these low-lives, they were warning them as well. I
was being terrorized by my fellow Americans; sleeping with an open knife to
protect myself.
Should we as Americans be subjected to this kind of
behavior and terrorism? No! However, police work hard putting these dealers and
cookers in jail just for the justice system to slap their hand and set them
free. Where is the justice in that? The frustration with this process shows on
the face of every police officer and DEA agent putting their life on the line
to catch and re-catch these dealers, with no end in sight. Now, with the
economy in utter peril, congress and government officials are talking cuts to
funding. This is a war on our own soil Mr. President and warrants the action of
the National Guard at the very least; furthermore, tougher penalties must be
imposed on these home-grown terrorists –as well as tougher immigration laws (or
letting states impose existing ones) and strict border control. If such action
is not taken, America is sure to be lost to the degenerates that cook and push
methamphetamine. And, Mr. President –I will give you the credit for putting the
lives of me and fellow Americans at risk sir!
States are coming up with tougher over-the-counter drug
laws to throw a wrench in the drug dealers’ cooking plans, but it has not
stopped the cookers’ from finding alternative action such as “supersmurfing” (finding
and paying others to store hop and purchase pseudoephedrine). “In 2005, Oregon
passed the strictest limits in the nation on the ingredients of meth…Oregon was
the first to require a prescription to get the cold-remedy pseudoephedrine” (Colin
Fogarty, 2007). Yet, Oregon’s methamphetamine problems still exist; costing
hundreds of lives a year. “Methamphetamine-related deaths in Oregon jumped 22% in 2010, claiming
106 lives –the most in a single year over the last decade, according to
statistics compiled by the state medical examiner” (Maxine Bernstein, 2011).
How many lives must be lost to this drug before the government steps in Mr.
President? How many times must I sleep with an open knife afraid to walk down
America’s sidewalks sir?
In conclusion, Tennessee and Oregon are only a small part
of this meth America; 48 other states have similar or worse issues. America as
a whole is affected terribly by this mind-altering evil and it must stop. If
the President will send our military over-seas to accomplish peace and safety for
others: Why is he not doing so in HIS own country? Could it be the minority
vote he hopes to secure again? Americans need action from the American
Government and President to keep us safe; if congress and the President refuse
this service to their country –I consider it tyranny and an act of desertion at
best and they all should be removed from office!

ENTITLEMENT REFORM: BUREAUCRATIC BULL

Americans have heard the term
entitlement reform before; previous Presidents and Congresses have spewed that
bull for years. Now, with the American economy in peril, they are at it again.
It is obvious that reform of the entitlement programs will not be accomplished.
For years spending has been out of control and the welfare programs are still
broken beyond repair; furthermore, Medicare seems to be their main target. This
is a program that is PAID into by working Americans –it’s not free. Why are
they not threatening the programs given to below the poverty line Americans
that have NEVER paid into the system? Giving drug addicts, alcoholics, and ‘baby
factories’ continuous aid, enabling them to continue to be addicts, alcoholics,
and producing children they refuse to raise to be productive members of society;
producing an even more entitled society. That’s right –I said it!
In the 80s and 90s, my mother was
considered a ‘Welfare Queen’; working the system, and teaching her children to
do the same (if she had spent as much time working as she did working the
system, she could have paid her own way through life). It seems that times have
not changed much in 2011/2012. The recipients are not the only ones to blame however;
Congress and the entitlement programs are continuing the same destructive
enabling behavior as previous years. And, once again Washington D.C. cannot
bring themselves to put these programs on the chopping block! I am not saying
these programs should be completely eliminated, but I am saying they should be reformed
at best.
First and foremost, drug addicts and
alcoholics should only be given entitlements for a max of one year; in this
time they must attend rehab and job training –after that, they are no longer eligible
for benefits, period! Addiction is curable! I was an addict, and now reformed;
I am in college working toward a productive life in a productive society. I am
tired of the coddling system raping the American taxpayer all to support and
enable drug addiction and alcoholism! Granted, there are people that truly need
these programs; it is now time to distinguish between those who are in need of
help and those in need of a swift kick in the ass! It is time to put on your
ass kickin’ boots Congress!
President Obama had this to say
about bringing these programs to the reform table: “This is a matter of
everybody having a serious conversation about where we want to go and then
ultimately getting in that boat at the same time so it doesn’t tip over” (ABC
News, 2011). Well Mr. President, the boat has sunk and American taxpayers are
grabbing for life jackets that just are not there! Somebody in Washington D.C.
needs to grow a pair and fix this ridiculous attempt to be charitable;
furthermore, leave Medicare and our seniors alone –they paid their way!
Additionally, start holding the
medical system accountable for over- charging Medicare and Medicaid; doing unnecessary
tests, lab work, and over prescribing narcotics to already addicted recipients.
And, just in case you don’t know –one extra-strength Tylenol does not cost $12!
These medical practices drive up health care costs for everyone else and it
needs to stop today! Or, would you rather push ‘grandma’ off a cliff so you no
longer have to pay her Medicare? We must gain control over these over-charging
practices before no American can afford health care or medication. Grandma and
Grandpa should not have to eat cat food so they can pay for their heart
medication.
Furthermore Congress, why don’t you
consider paying your own health insurance and retirement, and come down to the
economic plight with the rest of us. Taxpayers spend more to support our
ever-growing government that we do anything else! It is a job not a career;
when you get out of office –get a job like everyone else! We are tired of
paying a lifetime monetary value for your short time in office. And, if you
want to take Air Force one for a joy-ride, pay for the fuel yourself! That
would be a viable start to debt reform! Stop the tyranny –or your terms WILL be
short!

A Viable Start to Debt Reform

Boehner is continuing to stand firm on his refusal to agree to President Obama’s
debt reduction plan; his stubbornness reinforced by Tea Party activists and “ideological
freshman” in the Republican caucus. “In West Chester, Ohio –Tea Party activists
demanded House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner deliver on budget cuts
at a rally on Monday at his Ohio offices, urging the Republican leader to “stand
strong” in debt negotiations” (MSNBC, 2011). No wonder he is standing his
political ground, if he falters in his position he may lose his seat. “The Tea
Party movement, which advocates limited government, was vital to Republican
gains in last year’s congressional elections, helping them gain the majority in
the House that resulted in Boehner taking the speakership” (MSNBC, 2011). This
firm stand however, may cost the GOP the 2012 election.
The reason for
this analysis is: President Obama is taking pain-staking measures to publically
blame the Republican party for the stalled debt talks; making sure the American
people see him as willing to compromise for the ‘sake’ of the American people. If
one thinks of this in terms of election 2012, most of America’s population is
middle class, poor (on entitlements or government programs), or military –that is
a majority vote in the eyes of a future Presidential candidate; moreover, the
rest of the population is minority votes that usually sway Democrat. “Neither
party is blameless,” said the President” (MSNBC, 2011). This was a smart political
statement for Obama; history has proven that the American people
respect responsibility. Similarly, continuing to stress that the Republican
Party wants Medicare and Medicaid cut to the extreme, causing hardship for the
biggest majority of Americans is equally strategic.
Boehner
obviously peeved at the Presidents blame game and accusations tells the media
Monday night, “I want you to know I made a sincere effort to work with the
President…even when we thought we might be close on an agreement, the President’s
demands changed” (MSNBC, 2011). Boehner clearly holding the President
responsible for the debt talks breakdown, he goes on to suggest, “The sad truth
is that the President wanted a blank check six months ago, and he wants a blank
check today…that is just not going to happen” (MSNBC, 2011). One thing is
certain however, if the debt ceiling is not raised by August 2, 2011, America
will default; this will cause widespread consequences that the American people
and Government are not ready to deal with.
With all the
cutting, raising, debating, and promising that is done in Washington, these
politicians have never once suggested a pay cut for themselves, or layoffs in
the political genre, or cutting out paid insurance for them and their families.
Well, this writer received an e-mail today and I found it interesting to say
the least; it is one certain way to save the taxpayers’ money and help balance
the budget. I am not certain of the original author, but, in the e-mail it said
“if you agree pass it along”; this is my way of passing it along –as I believe
this is a viable start. Let me know what you think of this idea and why.

Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay
when they are out of office.
2. Congress (past,
present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the
Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately.
All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress
participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

Debt Talks Now Public Political Drama

Obama Sets Stage for 2012
Re-Election
Politicians are back at each others’ throats; pointing
fingers and spewing skewed political rhetoric. It is looking as if the debates
and public butt & baby kissing have begun. President Obama calmly ranted
about the stall tactics of the GOP and Speaker Boehner, making it clear to the
public that the Republicans are not willing to work toward a solution and
Boehner is the problem. However, John Boehner called his own press conference
to tell the American public that the problem was again within the White House;
moreover, Boehner suggests that the communication issue and stall tactics are
the President’s doing –not his. Are these Democrats and Republicans fighting
for their plight and people –or to keep their seat in office? This writer tends
to think the latter.
“I thought it would be useful for me to just give you
some insight into where we were and why I think we should have moved forward
with this big deal” (MSNBC, 2011), says President Obama in a news conference on
July 22, 2011. Obama goes on to make it clear that he is doing everything in
his power to get this Debt Reduction and Deficit Reduction package signed –even
if it meant going against some of his constituents. It is definitely looking a
lot like election time in Washington; the self-serving speeches have already
started. Of course John Boehner could not let such allegations go unanswered,
therefore, he called for his own press conference to rebut. Speaker Boehner
accuses the President of “moving the goal posts”, emphatically stating, “It’s
time to get serious…if the White House won’t get serious, we will” (MSNBC,
2011). From the grand- stand it looks like the Iowa primaries!
Eleven days before the deadline of default, a practical
solution to this stale-mate is still not visible; one party is fighting for the
rich and the other for the poor (big companies vs. entitlements). Republicans
are accusing Democrats of robbing the ‘rich’ to support the poor, where, the
Democrats are accusing the Republicans of trying to ‘push grandma off a cliff’
by cutting Medicare and Medicaid. Obama accuses Boehner of not controlling his caucus
of “ideological freshmen” who are steadfast in their stand against any tax
hike, claiming he has been “left at the altar a couple of times already” –insinuating
if not for that fact the debt problem would be fixed by now. And, of course no
banter would be complete without Nancy Pelosi putting in her two cents worth,
suggesting, “Speaker Boehner’s adult moment is long overdue” (MSNBC, 2011); as
if she has room to speak.
Boehner however, takes the high road when asked if his
relationship with Obama was damaged beyond repair by simply saying, “The disconnect
in the talks with the White House was “not because of different personalities,
but because of different visions for our country” (MSNBC, 2011). Additionally,
he reassured the public and media that this disagreement and Obama’s public reprimand
and blame placing did not affect their relationship whatsoever. Boehner went on
to assure the American people that he was “confident that Congress can act next
week” (MSNBC, 2011). For some reason these words of confidence do not comfort
the underpaid, over-worked, uninsured, taxpaying Americans that can barely feed
their families. Similarly, it does not give comfort to the disabled and
elderly, who sometimes go without food or electric so they can pay for
medication.
The President ordered Speaker Boehner, Nancy Pelosi,
Harry Reid, and Mitch McConnell to be at the White House at 11:00am on Saturday
July 23, 2011 for a Congressional meeting to discuss raising the debt ceiling through
to 2013 (this sets the stage for re-election plans). If these House members and
politicians would work as hard on getting things done as they do blaming
another for it not being done, a lot more would get done. Two hours of potential
Congressional talks time were wasted tonight in this political self-serving
media frenzy; moreover, this political stunt unfortunately shows the American
people and the world that our Government officials do not have the ethics or
capacity to effectively run this country or pay our debts –let alone act like
adults. They are all right in one aspect; the American people want the economy
back on track and are tired of the unscrupulous government spending, in
addition too, the ‘passing the buck’ and political rhetoric. Election 2012 is
just around the corner, now is not the time to be committing tyranny or defaulting
on loans, instead it is time to keep the promises made in the last election and
listen to ‘The People’.

SMEAR CAMPAIGNS
Finger pointing politics and the rhetoric in government has gotten completely out of control. Political debates and elections have become a disgusting display of rattling the skeleton bones in the opponent’s closet. Many politicians go as far as to hire an investigator to dig up tasty tidbits for the hungry vultures called the media. This type of campaigning has turned our politics into a circus that is causing consequences that will last a lifetime. Persons in a higher position in society and government have an obligation to set an example by adhering to a stricter set of standards. There was a time when holding a position in office was revered and only the righteous could serve – anything less was tyranny.
This behavior is unacceptable under any criteria. If indeed an opponent feels another candidate is behaving unethically or criminally they should privately go to a superior or legal professional instead of the media. The only rational reason a politician goes to the press is to hurt the reputation of the other candidate via the media. Furthermore, the only practical answer for such behavior is that the candidate wishes to divert attention from his own actions, thus making them seem like the better choice for power. Such candidates should be removed from the ticket and banned from running for office in the future.
Politicians have an obligation to act in a way that is flattering to America and its people, to set an example of excellence and patriotism, as well as, keep public order and respect. Unfortunately this is no longer the standard, instead – they lie, cheat, and spread rhetoric, and that is not for the greater good of all people. The people of America have an obligation to put an end to this behavior (peacefully) by refusing to take part in the political process until higher standards are met; we have failed our duty of obligation, moral ideals, and consequences. And, mark my words, if the people of America fail in their obligation in this area, the consequences will be devastating.
America is now reaping the consequences of past elections and choices in the political genre. The people’s voting obligations have been pushed aside to make room for the struggles of family, taxes, education, work, unemployment, and growing technology; we no longer research candidates running for office- it takes too much time. In addition, we count on the media to bring us fair and balanced coverage, basing our choices from the 60-second smear campaigns that flash in-between our favorite movie. The American People have an obligation to vote responsibly and mindful, with the greater good of all in mind.
If every person voted as if they would die at the exact moment they marked their ballot and the only people who the choice affected was those left behind (no personal gain), our choices might be different and more beneficial to everyone- not just ourselves. Until humankind stops voting selfishly, this kind of political behavior will continue. All American citizens have an obligation and duty to the greater good of all people, politicians, citizens, and government – no exceptions. It is more patriotic to not vote at all than to vote for someone whom does not have America’s best interest at heart; patriotic duty is more than the right to vote – it is making sure the candidate is worthy of office and power.

really sane Americans. He, like us, does not believe Barack Obama. Trump
appeared on Good Morning America where he came out and said he has a lot of
doubts as to whether Barack Obama was born in the United States
.

When Trump came out and said this,
he did something amazing. It was not that he agreed with a lot of Americans who
say they have doubts about Obama. The great thing about what Donald did is he
said it and he did not flinch when he said it. A lot of the alleged
conservative leaders have run like cockroaches when the lights are turned on
from the eligibility issue. The fact that Trump will deal with that issue and
deal with it head on raises his stock as a possible Presidential candidate in a
lot of people’s eyes.
Trump could have simply ignored the
issue. He could have side stepped it. He could have simply not dealt with
it. Instead he pointed out the obvious. This guy is the most mysterious man
ever to occupy the White House. He has refused to release almost any of his
records. He has refused to release school records, including his records as an
undergraduate at Occidental College . Some people have alleged that Obama
attended college there on a foreign student scholarship. Opening those records
could refute that claim, assuming it is a false claim. How about his social
security records? Obama has a social security number that originates from a
state that he not only never lived in, there is no proof he even visited that
state. How did he end up with that number?
How about his law school
records? We know what George Bush’s grade point average was because he released
all of his records. In 2004, John Kerry refused to release his military
records. In 2008, Obama took this to a new level, refusing to release almost
any of his records. The lap dog media quietly ignored that. You can bet in
2012, they will be after the records of every conservative who is a serious
candidate for the Oval Office.
In the same interview, Trump also
pointed out the obvious that so many people seem to be missing. The next
candidate the GOP selects has got to be someone who can beat Barack
Obama. Obama will not be a push over. He will raise $1 billion for his
reelection campaign, including the illegal contributions and the Chinese cash he
will get. He also added the magic words. Someone has to knock out
Obamacare.
Trump is not the perfect
candidate. There are and should be a lot of concerns about him. His previous
support of Rahm Emanuel is disturbing. He seems to have changed his position on
abortion and gay marriage.
However, one thing that you can say
about Donald, he has shown some courage that some other potential candidates
have not shown.
A lot of questions remain about him,
but his stock, unlike some other potential candidates, should be rising among
conservatives.
